Client Testimonies

“I partnered with Amy upon learning my A1C reached an all time high of 8.3.  Within one week of receiving these results, Amy put together a plan for me to incorporate a healthier meal plan, including but not limited to day time fasting a few days per week, with additional focus on exercise regimen. I began checking my fasting glucose each morning for monitoring in real time which helped me further in managing my diet more effectively. At my 3-month lab work check-in, my A1C results came in at 6.4, the lowest it has been in over 5 years. I'm well on may way to turning things around.  Thank you Amy!”

I am so thankful I found A Focus on Health. I have type 2 diabetes and was in denial.  I was taking medication for it but not tracking my sugars as I should have been.  I injured my knee and was scheduled for arthroscopic surgery.  My Dr. did some pre surgery blood tests and we had to cancel as my sugars were very high.  Off the charts actually and I am embarrassed to say so, but again I was in denial.

Working with Amy at A Focus on Health was they best thing I ever did.  Amy was great!  She educated me on nutrients, taught me how to read the labels (and the hidden labels).  She checked in on me regularly to see how I was doing as every body is different and reacts to food differently.    She would adjust my diet as needed to achieve our overall goal of good health.    Not only did she get my sugars well under control immediately I also lost 15 pounds!  I am now aware of what I eat, I have eliminated the medication my primary Dr. had me on for type 2 diabetes as well.   I am much more active and awaiting to be rescheduled for surgery!  Thank you Amy and A Focus on Health!
